- Why can implementation not be completed in less than three months?
- In order to achieve ISO 9001 or 14001 certification, you must demonstrate to a certification body that your Quality or Environmental Management System has been active for no less than 3 months. This is because all certification bodies award ISO 9001 and 14001 strictly based on at least 3 months of objective evidence, which only comes about as a result of running a live Quality or Environmental Management System. Our implementation programmes are, therefore, designed to work by providing you with all required skills and materials in structured and logical stages in order to achieve ISO 9001 or 14001 as quickly and simply as possible within this statutory time frame. This ensures that the objective evidence is available, making it the best way to ensure success and the quickest route to ISO 9001 and 14001 certification.
- Why do some consultants offer to implement ISO in only a few hours or days?
- They do this because either they are not providing you with all the information, documentation and training you need or they provide everything at once, swamping you with more information and tasks to perform than you can reasonably cope with at any one time. The paperwork is generic and not tailored to your company. You can be left confused and overwhelmed by the whole process making your only recourse to go back to them for more help, which usually ends up costing you a lot more money. No matter how fast they say they can do it, there is no getting around the 3 month minimum requirement of the certification body. - How is Marron Consultants involved in the certification process?
- We implement the ISO Management system you require and leave the option of who to choose to certify your new System up to you. We are proud to offer excellent value, comprehensive ISO 9001 Quality and 14001 Environmental Management System Implementation and because we are not involved in the actual accreditation process - other than being there on the day to provide support and resolve any issues the accreditation auditor raises - we will always offer the best advice and remain impartial.
- What is included in the cost?
- Our cost includes all required ISO documentation, customised to your company, step-by-step tailored training in ISO 9001 Quality or ISO 14001 Environmental System Management, conducting your first Internal Audit and Management Review (both of which are now statutory requirements for ISO certification), attendance during the certification audit and dedicated support throughout the whole implementation process.
